Why Pakistan Needs a Youth Forum
Over 60% of Pakistan is under 30. The institutions that should serve them haven't kept up. Here's what a national youth platform can do.

Pakistan's demographic moment is once-in-a-century. Over 60% of the population is under 30 and a third is between 15 and 29. The opportunity is generational — but so is the risk. The institutions that should be preparing young Pakistanis for work, leadership, and civic life are uneven at best.
Pak Youth Forum was created to close that gap. Not by replacing the state, the universities, or the market, but by building the connective tissue between them — and by giving young people a real platform to lead, learn, and be heard.
This post outlines the three problems we set out to address: the skills gap, the leadership gap, and the voice gap — and how a focused, well-run national platform can move the needle on each.
